Bass Camp 2023 | Boxout Wednesdays #255 w/ Surusinghe, Sleepy Insomniac, Avviisha & Ashna Malik About Surusinghe: Meet Surusinghe, the genre-bending producer known for her innovative and percussive, bass-driven music. Born in Naarm/Melbourne and now residing in London, she has a unique blend of international influences that is reflected in her sound. Surusinghe's high energy sets and dynamic sound has sen her being booked at some of Europe's finest dancefloors such as Panorama Bar, Garage Noord, Printworks, Sub Club and Koko, and festivals Field Day, Waterworks, Lost Village, Snowbombing, FLY Open Air and Dialled In. Her debut EP was released last August via seminal label Steel City Dance Discs to rave reviews and support by some of electronic music's leading tastemakers such as Jamie xx, HAAi and VTSS. The EP soon became a firm favourite for DJ's during the summer festival circuit with Resident Advisor going as far as to declare 'GO TO' in their list of best tracks at Draaimolen Festival, and Mixmag featuring club-standout ‘HEAVEN' in their top tracks of 2022, solidifying Surusinghe's position as a rising star in the electronic scene.
