#BonoboLucky13 To celebrate thirteen years of bar, love, food and music, Bonobo will host thirteen events starting Tuesday, 30th November 2021 until Sunday, 12th December 2021. The Bombay Jazz Club is back at Bonobo with a new line up! Founded by Dee Wood and Rajesh Punjabi, The Bombay Jazz Club has been consistently arranging programs of live Jazz in Mumbai and beyond. They have played host to legions of outstanding musicians from all across India and the World. The Bombay Jazz Club has been instrumental in keeping Jazz as a central feature of the busy music scene. Staying true to the art form, their ever expanding repertoire includes jazz standards, funky grooves, wailing improvisation, jazzy riffs, Latin beats and soulful, swinging non stop music making. For this edition of Bombay Jazz Club at Bonobo we feature Sonia Saigal on vocals, Ryan Fernandes on bass, Harmeet Manseta on keys. Chris Fonseca on lead guitar and Denzil Fernandes on drums. About Sonia Saigal: Sonia is one of the best vocalists to ever come forth from India . Her parents Don and Jenny Saigal are both professional singers and have been performing for the last 40years all over India. Sonia's first stage appearance was at the tender early age of 7 in Calcutta.. At the age of 16 she made her professional debut singing with an 18 piece jazz big band known as the Delhi Swing Ensemble, followed by numerous singing assignments with most of the leading bands and musicians in India, where she honed her craft with a lot of hard work and dedication, emerging as one of the most brilliant singers in India today. She has performed in almost every 5 star hotel all over India. She has been invited to perform abroad with international musicians in major cities like Bangkok, Beijing, Kualalampur, Shanghai, Dubai & Abudhabi &Kathmandu See you all on Wednesday evening at your favourite neighbourhood bar!
