Did someone say metal was dead? The only thing dead is the queen. Metal Chennai returns after a huge break to bring back heavy metal to the city. Brutal Carnage : Homecoming celebrates the return of metal with three killer bands all set to let loose on stage: Moral, Godia & Avekn. Join us in the pit at Gears and Garage on Saturday, October 1st at 6PM! We will be celebrating the homecoming of metal and the return of Old School Death Metal band Moral Putrefaction, fresh from the legendary Wacken Metal Fest in Germany. Moral were the winners of the Wacken Metal Battle 2022, defeating bands from Bangladesh, Nepal and the entire Indian subcontinent to represent India (and Chennai) in Germany. Moral is Shiva, Hemanth, Nithin and Beeto Godia, also finalists of the Wacken Metal battle are a 4-piece progressive metalcore band from Chennai. Signed to Rottweiler records, GODIA is all set to drop their debut album 'End of Ages' very very soon! Godia is Isaiah, Tom, Nehemiah and Josh Avekn is a three piece alternative metal band featuring front woman and bassist Anusha, Keshav on guitar and Nikhil on drums. They released their debut EP 'Rude Awakening' in 2021 and are all set to take the scene by storm. Tickets out on Skillbox, get yours asap!
