From performing at the first Boiler Room session in India to playing at two of the biggest European festivals, Outlook and Dimensions festivals, the solo electronic project started by Ketan Bahirat, Oceantied is a deep-dive into the artist’s sprawling soundscape. Apart from his constant involvement in playing live shows at clubs, venues and festivals around the country - under Oceantied as well as on guitar for ‘Until We Last’ - Ketan Bahirat has co founded 'Dasta' in 2016. Dasta is the coming together of 6 unique artists and creators as a platform pushing culture, collaboration and community in India. -------------------------------- About Bigfat -------------------------------- 'Aniruddh Mehta aka bigfat is Graphic Designer, Visual Artist and a DJ. He believes in no-hype, low end bass music. His ideal night is a dark room with a good soundsystem. He is constantly exploring the larger hemisphere of dub music ranging from roots reggae to meditative dubstep to bass music. He has previously shared the stage with Kahn, Flowdan, Delhi Sultanate, Goth-Trad, Loefah, Amit, Hrdvsion and more. He is also the host of Control Sessions, a monthly online radio show on Boxout.fm. Hoods up, heads down and eyes shut.' -------------------------------- About Kayan.a -------------------------------- As a DJ (Kayan), Ambika Nayak takes influence from the music she performs that makes an interesting mix of a lot of groove including genres like hip-hop , R&B, dance music and future bass. This set calls for being chill, and, in moments getting into some serious groove.. Ambika Nayak is a Vocalist , Composer and Performer from Bombay. Ambika Nayak has an easy style of singing with a voice that’s layered textures are a blend of ballads with a Jazz and pop stylistic approach but does not hold herself back from trying various styles and genres. Born into a creatively inclined family Ambika’s exposure to the arts began early. She has two ongoing projects ‘Kimochi Youkai’ (Live Band) and ‘Nothing Anonymous’ (Live Electronica duo) Kimochi Youkai has performed at different venues across Bombay like The Royal Opera House, Anti-Social and also played at the NH7 Weekender Pune. Nothing Anonymous played at a number of festivals like Echoes of Earth , Sula Fest , NH7 Weekender Pune and also opened for international acts like Noah Slee in Bombay and Bonobo for VH1 Supersonic in Bangalore.
