It doesn’t scream or shout, it settles in quietly and rages a storm for the world to see. And nobody embodies that degree of talent better than Jayant. A DJ, Producer and Music Composer who has been in the industry for over 15 years, Jayant is a multi-faceted artist.Undeniably identified as India’s most versatile DJ, Jayant’s obsession with creating music started at an early age. His curiosity and eagerness has not waned ever since the first time he manipulated sounds to his whim. Jayant began producing music in 2003 and has done numerous projects since then, working with internationally acclaimed artists.His pet project Jitter is a LIVE/DJ techno identity. His boundaries as an artist are practically limitless, and that ethos reflects in all his work. His influences come from a wide spectrum of artists and musicians ranging from Indian classical, electronica, rock, techno and ambient – and Jayant has fused all of them to develop a unique style of music, all his own. Even though these genres lay a fundamental base for his work, one can’t characterize what you really experience and feel at his live shows. As Jitter, his sound is very edgy, experimental and emotive. -------------------------------- About snad -------------------------------- Snad launched his musical career at 14 in a bedroom near Philadelphia, USA. Now 26, based out of Berlin again, Snad is unswervingly establishing himself amongst elite global House and Techno Producers and DJs. Swerve. Snad cut his teeth on Chicago’s WNUR 89.3 Streetbeat Radio. Shortly after his tenure at WNUR, he shifted to Berlin and had the opportunity to play vinyl only sets at legendary clubs and underground events world over, including the world renowned Golden Pudel in Hamburg, Sisyphos in Berlin, KB18 in Copenhagen, GEM Festival in Georgia, Flash Club in Washington DC, Marble Bar in Detroit, Spybar in Chicago,Pistil in Seoul, TAG in Chengdu, Yu Yu in Mexico City, Papaya Playa Project in Tulum and Tao Terraces in Bangalore. Snad continues to spend most of his time in the studio, producing numerous forms of house and techno both alone and with friends such as Jakob Seidensticker (Wareika) and Boronas (Square Room Heroes) together under the alias Mothership. Snad's GANDU001 project heralded early support from the likes of Seth Troxler, Michael Serafini and Garrett David; now sold out, the 002, a cult favorite in Chicago is not far behind it! The past year was marked by exclusive vinyl releases for labels such as Smallville Records, Minibar Music, BodyParts, Suol, Pleasure Zone & Andromeda now available for purchase. Looking to the future, Snad started a new project We R The Aliens with Jakob Seidensticker, Boronas and Melina, the first release debuting in June of 2019 with a rolling deep remix from Smallpeople. 2020 looks promising with a Mothership EP on Minibar and a V/A contribution and EP for esteemed Pittsburgh outfit Terrafirm already in the calendar.
