Fix The Six

Sayantan Dasgupta (Guitars|FX): Beyond his corporate life, Sayantan aka Shay has been playing the guitars for over 18 years now and has worked in the music/film industry as a session artist, composer, and more recently as a director with TSeries. He has quite a few mainstream films to his credits where he worked a session guitarist for renowned directors including A.R. Rahman. Shay has performed nationally and internationally at music venues, film festivals, pubs, cafes, television, etc. He has been featured in newspapers such as The Hindu, Deccan Chronicles, Times of India, The Telegraph many times. Lately, Shay was covered in the Vintage Guitar Magazine UK for being the first Indian guitar player to have owned the relic Bukka Strat. Krishnan Chatterjee (Vocals|Guitars): Meandering along corporate life, Krishnan once discovered that he was a passable musician. As a consequence, he participated in several musical projects with bands like Cocktail and Contraband culminating in the global release of an album called Currency (do you C it yet ?). Interestingly enough, at one point Krishnan found himself on the cover of Economic Times in an article on corporate bands, finally achieving this elusive stamp of corporate success, with no real corporate achievement to speak of. As a wise man said - 'when you come to a fork in the road, take it'. As the lockdown descended with it's own once in a lifetime fork - Krishnan took it with Shay, in an effort called ‘Fix The Six’ which found success (as all good music does) on LinkedIn. With that tenuous connection established, it may be good to sign off with (the completely irrelevant) information that Krishnan once keynoted at the LinkedIn India conference on the subject of music and management.
