Focus Group Radio presents African Music Exploration + Dans Punk (Fourth Anniversary Gig)

Hello Bangalore, Focus Group Radio turns 4 and we’ve built a special anniversary show case for you. With this showcase we juxtapose both our musical explorations for you - African Music Exploration and Dans Punk. Enter room 1, where Carissa, Daisho and Focus Group Sound System build the speak easy room for a deep and playful exploration of African Music. While the floor above, the Punk Room will shape shift sonically as Fushi, Nich, Oceantied and Raka Ashok put you through your paces with some mind bending forward thinking dance music. We’re here to celebrate the spirit of Focus Group Radio - embracing the weird and the wonderful. We’ve also observed Bangalore’s creative community is extremely thoughtful, inclusive and forward thinking musically. And to present this in the most honest way, we’re excited to bring on board artists who’ve helped shape and nurture the scene to where it is today. Building this showcase has been a labor of love. Curating a night that bridges both these directions is something we’ve been waiting to experiment with. Share this with your friends, your lovers and come through for a special Dans.
