Yip Wong (DEFT) is a UK producer and DJ wildly popular in the underground bass scene for his constantly evolving and massive range of sounds. He describes his music as “influenced through dance music, IDM, hip-hop and soundscapes”, but this sells short what seems more like skilful, genre cherry-picking: the broad sweeps of cinema, the snapping drums of halftime, the gargled warps of acid techno. EchoFloat is a project conceived by Jeff Nelson. Hailing from Mumbai - EchoFloat's sounds are heavily influenced by crossovers of experimental beats, bass, jungle and dubstep. Kandy Kuri is Aishwarya who draws inspiration from a wide repertoire of spanning bass/breaks/techno/percussions, her sets are known for their spunk, steadying rage, and honesty. With Kandy Kuri behind the decks, the dance-floor mirrors her startlingly high energy as she curates a rich interplay of intuition, capture, and release - where you arrive is never where you find yourself waking up.
