He has toured India multiple times with legendary artists DIANA KING, LUCKY ALI, APACHE INDIAN, MISTA SAVONA and LOW RHYDERZ, performing at venues ranging from College festivals, Music Festivals, public concert arenas to clubs. His foray into the entertainment world and initial years as a performing artist was mostly with the Bangalore based urban outfit called the Low Rhyderz. He took the plunge of following his heart to make music in 2006 without any training or proper exposure prior. The jounrey itself and experiences has moulded today’s musicality of King Jassim. For him, Music is more than just a mere entertainment tool today. He considers music sacred and a tool that has unimaginable power to heal andunite. His decade long journey as an artist saw him done various hats. From being a rap and Hip Hop artist to MC alongside DJs, A radio Jockey to tour and band manager, party promoter to Reggae - Dancehall Selekta and MC. He is known for his live Reggae and dancehall concerts ( both track and band dates ), MCing and Toasting with Reggae and Dub Djs. His recent interest has been performing with like minded musicians to create very meditative musical soundscape using vocal chants and traditional or tribal instruments giving a very folk, tribal, world and a dubby feel to it. King Jassim was invited to play in Sri Lanka in Aug 2018, which marks his first show outside India.
