Ofcourse we’re talking about Amit 'Duvdev' Duvdevani and Erez Eisen aka Infected Mushroom. Combining a blend of Middle Eastern - influenced melodies, and experimenting across various genres ranging from ambient and abstract electronic music to Synth pop and downtempo, Amit and Erez easily became recognized as one of the top successful Israeli Trance Production Duo after the release of 'The Gathering' in 1999 which was heavily inspired by Simon Posford, X-Dream, and Transwave; as well as 'Classical Mushroom' in 2000 that erupted in Europe, Japan and America. Their highest grossing album 'Vicious Delicious' was released in 2007 creating a chain reaction which just kept leading on to the high anticipation of the release of ' Legend of the Black Shawarma which also included Billboard Chart Topping Hit 'Smashing the Opponent' featuring guest vocals by Korn's Lead Singer, Jonathan Davis. In 2011, the duo was signed by Steve Aoki to his Dim Mak label. Following which they were able to release a culmination of Dubstep, electro-house and drum'n'bass style music in the form of the 2012 album 'Army of Mushrooms' which also covered 'The Pretender' by the Foo Fighters. This allowed the duo to create an ambitious, overwhelming audio-visual setup, bringing their sonic and visual frequencies to life, through their North American Tour 'The Unveiling'. The duo who were also known as 'Shidapu & Duvdev have transcended across various genres in order to create a unique self-invented genre that breaks all the rules of conventional music production. Duvdev and Erez stimulated millions with their frequencies, progressively transforming the electronic dance music scene from the early 2000's and created their own genre 'Psychedelic Trance Music' disassociating from the mainstream tones and frequencies. They pioneered inventing, experimenting, flips-ups, bends-over, twists-sideways sticking to their EDM roots with a touch of spicy, trippy, hypnotic and psychedelic flavours.
