International Jazz Day

On the International Jazz Day, a day that brings together communities from all around the world in a celebration of Jazz, the genre that revels in the freedom of improvisation and spontaneity, The Piano Man Jazz Club is proud to host some of Delhi's finest musicians for a night full of Jazz music for the soul - Parvati Krishnan, a unique & musically seamless storyteller who encapsulates expressions in her voice; Ilina Gandhi, a Delhi based vocalist and dancer whose heart lies in Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Blues; and Prabhtoj Singh, an independent musician/singer-songwriter and music teacher from New Delhi who has been performing with his band Copycats for the last 7 years On drums is Aditya Dutta, a professional drummer based in Delhi, who has been performing and collaborating as a sessions drummer in the Delhi independent music circuit for the past couple of years. On the bass is Sonic Shori, a professional bassist in the city of Delhi and a mastery of several different genres including classical, fusion, funk and metal. On the Keys is Arunava Chatterjee a.k.a. Shonai. Born in a musicians’ family, Shonai, in his 20 years of performance life, has worked in every possible situation from solo to duet and from bands like trio, quartet and Quintet to Big Bands. And on the guitar is Siddharth Gautam, a seasoned guitar player, who has sessioned regularly with some of the most established acts of the country.
