Krunk presents Madboy & Synths Back @ Bonobo, Mumbai 24 Sept, Friday Free Entry Krunk is back @ home @ Bonobo. Krunk's residency @ Bonobo is now 12 + years old. Bonobo has been an important foundation for the Krunk family. Krunk x Bonobo have hosted some incredible gigs together over the last 12 years. And we are really excited to be back. We start our residency with MADBOY (Imaad Shah) & SYNTHS BACK (Krunk Kulture / Bangalore) this Friday 6 pm onwards. Mumbai shuts early @ 10 pm so come early for some evening hangs. ----------------------- About Madboy: Madboy, the Electronic solo project of Imaad Shah, is based out of Mumbai, India. His sound is influenced by Disco, House and Electro-Funk with lush soundscapes, classic drum machine sounds, live guitar, and synthesizers. Madboy is one half of popular Electro-Funk duo Madboy/Mink. The solo Madboy project is his playground as a producer, with touches of Acid, Lo-Fi, House, Synthwave, Electro, Soul, Sample heavy cuts and his trademark songwriting. He has released two well-received EPs ,'Boy’, 'Dream Delite' as well as a handful of singles and reworks including a release on Nowadays Records, Paris. About Synths Back: An Ode to the Synthesiser, this DJ/Producer is bringing Back the ‘80s sounds, Abhishek Chanda, popularly known as Synths Back gets his alias from his obsession with the synthesiser. For a boy who grew up on the islands of Andaman and Nicobar, his exploration for jazz, funk and soul brought him to the mainland. After it dawned on him that his sounds would be a unification of retro synth and house grooves, he then went on to create his single ‘Luna’ in 2018 followed by few remixes. Having been a professional music tutor, he has consciously made an effort to expand the music community by offering his skill sets to upcoming and aspiring DJs & Producers saying that he wants the “new generation to absorb the culture and aesthetics of his sound'.
