About Nino Brown

Nino Brown is no stranger to making crowds from all hoods let loose on the dance floor. Her cheeky blends of dancehall, rnb and pop bangers ear marked her signature style, yet the incorporation of global electronic sounds equally make up her genre jumping sets. She is a founder of Canada's largest inclusive dance party series Yes Yes Y'all (YYY/Toronto) which has been voted one of the city's top jams since its birth in 2009. The YYY crew is known for their emphasis on diversity and inclusivity, and their event has become a Toronto institution, attracting both local and international talent.
In 2012, Nino founded YYY's sister event in Montreal and London, Cousins Party. In addition, she provides resident DJ/ promoter duties all over some of Toronto’s hottest events and helped spearhead an underground urban music movement that links music, style, politics and a proper rave.

Some of Nino’s international appearances include Boiler Room (London), Papi Juice (New York), A Club Called Rhonda (Los Angeles), Moonshine (Montreal) Club Morph (Atlanta), Carnival (Trinidad), Magnetic Fields (India), amongst many others. On top of providing DJ duties for some of North America’s premium rising talent (Azealia Banks, BbyMutha, Princess Nokia, Machel Montano, Angel Haze, etc) she has also performed opening sets for an epic list of artists; Skepta, Big Freedia, Majid Jordan, Vince Staples, Ty Dollla $ign, Bad Gyal, 070 Shake, Vic Mensa, Nina Sky, Electric Punanny, DVSN, A Tribe Called Red, Ginuwine, and many more).

About Mo Styles

From being a vocalist in a live hip-hop band in the United Kingdom in the late 90’s, to 20 years later running an independent record label in India, Mo Joshi aka Mo Styles, Co Founder of Azadi Records has long been associated with grassroots subculture movements.
Over the course of his career he’s worked with renowned independent festival venue, Chai Wallahs, Grammy award winning singer Joss Stone, as well as working with hip-hop artist, historian and journalist Akala who whom he is still working with to this day.
In 2014, Mo permanently moved to India and set about getting his name know within the Indian hip hop scene, in 2015 he took over the running of
desihiphop.com, the world’s largest platform dedicated to south Asian hip hop, ge grew the community from 1,000 monthly visitor, to 250,000 in the space of 18 months.
Disillusioned with their vision, Mo left DHH and founded Azadi Records with music journalist, Uday Kapur. Having signed standout Delhi rapper, Prabh Deep, Seedhe Maut, Tineas & Ahmer, Azadi Records have set about discovering artists with a unique sound who also have a story to tell.
In 2018, Mo made it on to GQ’s most influential young Indians list for his work within hip-hop in India.
Apart from this work within the entertainment industry, Mo also co-founded and runs a successful IT company with his brother, Manu, which the two bothers together still run today.
