ARTIST BIO: FAUZIA interweaves high octane club sounds seamlessly - as inspired by the original juke sounds of Chicago as she is by the explosion of breaks that emanated from the UK underground in the 90s, her ability to connect the dots between iconic scenes is explored via her monthly residency for London radio platform NTS. In the year since her show’s first edition, she has welcomed the likes of Kode9, DJ Taye, Mall Grab, Scratcha DVA and Ikonika to the decks, broadening her horizons as a tastemaker. With a deep understanding of bass-heavy sonics and impactful selections, her irrepressible talent for worldwide selections compliment her fast-paced energy in the club and with the first taste of her own productions on the horizon, FAUZIA brings her unique transatlantic twist to every set. Her selections have landed her guest mixes on BBC Radio 1, Resident Advisor and Crack Magazine. Currently enjoying a meteoric rise, 2019 became a year of debuts with notable shows at De School, Robert Johnson, Griessmuehle and Unsound Festival.
