Lucent Presents Black Lotus + Vishal Unni at Aqua - The Park Bangalore! BLACK LOTUS Fascinated by science and technology, Berlin-born ‘Black Lotus’ decides to collide with a wide spectrum of arts, reaching from design to performance. Her current focus lies on her musical journey where she composes soundscapes and produces electronic music. Part of the ‘FLASH Recordings’ family she releases floor-oriented EP´s on a regular basis while simultaneously running her own vinyl record label ‘Luminal rec.’, which has its third 12-incher dropping in May 2020. With a sharp profile of trippy and artful performances at forward-thinking venues like ://about blank, EXIT Festival, Festival Forte, B-018 Beirut, Gare Porto, MMA Munich, Utopía Madrid and her DJ residencies at the infamous Berlin nightclubs Golden Gate, Griessmuehle & KitKat Club she now takes off to her second India tour while planning her U.S. debut project for this summer. VISHAL UNNI Vishal Unni begun his career as a DJ around 5 years ago, having already shared the stage with heavyweights like James Zabiela, Nick Devon, Eelke Kleijn and Martin Roth to name a few. He has played at all the top venues in the city, also in other cities, as well as in Goa for both Krank and CTRL ALT DANCE music festivals. His sound can be described as a symbiosis of the more melodic side of progressive house, and the darker, more futuristic sounds of techno, with rich psychedelic influences. He cites some of his inspirations as artists like Boris Brejcha, Max Cooper, Jitter and SHFT. Quality music is what he aims to provide, both in his DJ sets and his own productions.
