About the Band: Mary Ann Alexander: Mary Ann, a Kerala-born artist, blends R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop, finding comfort in vulnerability and enjoying music's social aspects. Starting studio work at age 7, she developed her talent under her musician father and through studying Indian Classical music and piano. Her first song, written at 15, featured in the Malayalam film Kolambi. She produces, DJs, and collaborates with Indian indie artists like Sanjeev T, Sid Sriram, and Neeraj Madhav. Her 2022 single 'In My Zone,' an Electro-R&B track with Pranay Parti, became an anthem for antisocial extroverts, topping Spotify and Apple Music playlists. She performed at major Indian festivals like Magnetic Fields and Homegrown in 2022. The Lojal Experience: LOJAL, pronounced 'loyaal,' is a dynamic music-making venture created by Martin J. Haokip from Manipur. Evolving into a live performance phenomenon and a festival favorite, LOJAL delivers high-energy shows and critically acclaimed releases.
