Among East Africa’s most exciting DJs and a core member of Kampala’s Nyege Nyege collective, Kampire’s vibrant bass-heavy sets have transported her to clubs & festivals across the world. One of Mixmag’s picks for Top Ten Breakthrough DJs of 2018, Kampire’s set on Boiler Room broadcast from Nyege Nyege festival was a legitimate ‘internet moment’.
Kampire’s DJ mixes have been featured on Resident Advisor, Dekmantel and Fact Magazine, which saw her chosen amongst the best mixes of 2019 on Pitchfork & Fact’s end of year lists. Her Rinse FM radio residency has seen her shine a light on other East African DJs & artists, including Hibotep, Faizal Mostrixx & Catu Diosis.
2019 saw Kampire tour four continents, playing every tastemaster festival across Europe & making her US debut headlining a Nyege Nyege showcase at Red Bull Music Festival, New York.
< About Stain >
Sourodeep Guha a.k.a Stain is Delhi based bass music producer mainly focusing on genres like Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, Dubstep and Jungle. He is one of the key members who formed the collective called “Sub-Z”, who also has hosted artists like Rider Shafique and Ivy Lab in their event series called “Bassmndi”. His music has been featured in shows like Skip-a-Beat by Spryk, Juggernaut by Tarqeeb on Boxout.fm and Tarqeeb’s Guest mix on NTS radio for Madam X. He recently released a 3 track EP called “Observation” which got a good support from many Indian and International DJs and producers. He has shared the stage with artists such as Reggae Rajahs, Delhi Sultanate, Daisuke Tanabe, CEE, Flowdan, Skeptical, EGOLESS, Sukh Knight and Coki. In 2019, he also has performed at Goa Sunsplash and Boxout Weekenders.

Arjun Sodhi aka SODHI is a hip-hop/dancehall/bass music DJ from New Delhi. After spending his formative years in London his tastes are heavily influenced by the sounds of the City’s underground music scene. Blurring the lines between Grime, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Afro and Dancehall, SODHI ties together soundsytem music with urban sounds in a way that will keep your feet moving and head bobbing.
