We're bringing together the concept of Music and Visuals with an age old technology that has been the communicative basis for a lot of industries globally. Electronic Music uses the term BPM or beats per minute which are nothing but pulses. A Morse Code is comprised of pulses in multiple formats which converts alphabets into signals to convey a message. Featuring 3 artists, 2 from Mumbai and 1 from Hyderabad, the first edition of Morse Code promises to deliver a memorable audio-visual experience from start to finish. ----------------------------ABOUT THE ARTISTS--------------------------- 𝙕𝙊𝙆𝙃𝙐𝙈𝘼- At the bleeding edge of his own future Zokhuma(Arman Menzies) represents the end of old things, the beginning of new ones, and a forged alliance with those making alternative electronic music in previously uncharted territories. This 27-year-old maverick has a mask for every occasion. Well known in the cult progressive metal circles in India for his earlier work for Goddess Gagged before moving on to study music production in the UK; he’s already performed in places like Croatia, Netherlands, UK and SriLanka while cherry-picking his way through local gigs & festivals as well. Unafraid to crisscross between soundscapes you’ve never heard—think frantic, chopped-up African beats or moodier experimental electronica and disco; his sensibilities have a way of putting any audience at ease. As Does his infectious energy behind the console 𝘼𝙉𝙐𝙎𝙃𝙆𝘼 - In the world of fashion and beauty photography , Anushka Menon is a name that would ring a bell to many . Spending many years on the other side of the console curating, organizing, and attending gigs, Menon is not a stranger to the independent music scene. Although Anushka excels in roles behind the scenes, her transition to the spotlight as a DJ was a natural progression . The move broadened her music sensibilities as she immersed herself in Dj’ing alongside having a full-time career as a photographer- both mostly male-dominated professions. Her career as a DJ began with the inception of the duo, Anushka + Agent, along with Smita Singh. Her sets go beyond Breaks and Drum and Bass and seep into genres like Electro, Leftfield House and Techno. Anushka’s DJ sets layer bass-heavy and edgy breaks ultimately ensconced in a darker, moody veneer. She embraces a variety of styles in her sets and has become an icon of edginess- creating music interwoven with keen fashion sense, that is fresh, authentic, and driven by dance. Anushka’s most significant motive as a DJ is to make sure that the audience has a good time.
