This Saturday, 28th August, the Pink City will witness its first ever ALL WOMEN'S LINE-UP with Anushka, Secular Chai & our very own Linipop taking you on a musical journey that covers genres like House, Techno, Breaks, Electro, Nu-Disco, Jungle, UKG to everything in between! Psssst.. there will be some 'Surprise' acts through the night as well supporting these super talented women. About the Artists: ANUSHKA: In the world of fashion and beauty photography, Anushka Menon is a name that would ring a bell to many. Spending many years on the other side of the console curating, organizing and attending gigs, Menon is not a stranger to the independent music scene. Although, Anushka excels in roles behind the scenes, her transition to the spotlight as a DJ was a natural progression. Her sets go beyond Breaks and Drum n Bass and seep into genres like Electro, Leftfield House and Techno. Anushka's DJ sets layer bass-heavy and edgy breaks ultimately ensconced in a darker, moody veneer. Anushka's most significant motive as a DJ is to make sure the audience has a good time. Her sets are known to be audience-centric and have an aspect of fluidity in genres from beginning to finish. SECULAR CHAI: Aprajita Singh aka Secular Chai is a Delhi based DJ that brings to you delicious tunes and re-sampled goodness soaked in good vibes that incite all kinds of savory feelings. She found her undying love for music while being in the scene as a prominent raver and turned it into her passion by taking up a DJing course and digging deep to find her own sound since the very beginning. She is ready to bring the French magic back to the music scene and delivers exactly what is needed to get the dance floor going. LINIPOP: Shalini Tholia aka Linipop is a talented visual artist who has been a part of Rippleffect's journey since the very beginning. A raver at heart, she absolutely loves music and decided to make it into her passion by self learning how to DJ while she was stuck at home during the nationwide lockdown last year. This is her debut club gig and we cannot wait for y'all to see what she has in store for all of us this Saturday!
