Dobby (UK)
Known as the ‘Blend Queen’, Dobby is a 23 year old, East London based DJ. She holds down her Witchezz Brew radio show on Reprezent Radio (2nd & 4th Tues 9-11PM), which discovers and supports the best and freshest in underground club music ranging from Club, UK Garage, Vogue, Footwork & beyond. She has been DJing since she was 16, and has since DJ’d for the likes of Jamz Supernova, Toddla T, BBC Asian Network, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Boilerroom, Creamfields Festival, Lovebox Festival, Field Day, MTV, Dr Martens, ASOS & more. Dobby is also part of a collective called 6 Figure Gang, which is made up of Sherelle (BBC Radio 1/Reprezent/Hoover Sounds), Fauzia (NTS), Lucy (Reprezent Radio), Yazzus (Rave Litany) & Jossy Mitsu (Rinse FM) who have toured extensively throughout the UK with Boilerroom as well as their own monthly show on Rinse FM. Furthermore, Dobby is an up and coming club promoter, with a vision of partying for a good cause. In July 2018, she put on her first night, Witchezz Brew Ball, at Rye Wax with herself, Fauzia (NTS/Shook), Sherelle (Reprezent/Mixmag), Jay Jay Revlon (House of Revlon/Lets Have A Kiki), Lagoon Femshayma (Prestige Pak/Foundation FM) & Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 1Xtra/Future Bounce). All proceeds from the night went to Safeline UK, a charity that supports people who have been sexually abused, and managed to raise just under £300 for Safeline UK. Dobby also curated a line up and collaborated with Tate Britain and Reprezent Radio for Late at Tate, which included herself, Sherelle, Bamz (Nadia Rose DJ & Producer) and Beauty Blender ( A.G & Manara from NTS).
