ARTIST BIO: Rishon Bondal: Rishon Bondal is an Indian alternative & dance music recording artist, song writer, musician, DJ & producer.A consistently raucous party DJ, synthesiser fanatic, weird pop music enthusiast, founding member of the band Mutations, and now soon to be solo music act; Rishon has been busy.Spread across home recording setups between Bangalore and London. The first of Rishon’s recently released associated works, Mutations 01, a modernist homage to electro & dance music of the 1980’s, received positive critique from dance music stalwarts and the community alike. Forthcoming projects for 2021 include a debut solo album, the Mutations 02 EP with the band and a Mutations Remix EP, featuring a remix from dance music royalty The Egyptian Lover, remixes & edits by the band and a selection of exciting talent. Duchess has shared the stage with a wide array of formidable and awesome artists including Todh Teri, Gerd Janson, Dauwd, Jeremy Underground, Danny Howells, Youngr, Thee J Johanz and more. And he brings all that energy, positivity, happiness and gratitude to each and every DJ set. SourFunk: SourFunk is the brainchild of Bangalore-based DJ, Vaibhav S Narayan. Born into a family with a love for the creative arts, he grew up in an environment that encouraged him to explore his love for sounds and find music in the everyday humdrum of life. His experimental music journey took a solid turn when DJ and electronic music producer Stalvart John took him under his wing. He embraced soul, funk, and disco under his mentor's guidance, which paved the way for his current moniker - SourFunk. His diverse and eclectic taste in music is ever-evolving and is not bound to genres. He has even performed at the Cosmic Disco Bar at Magnetic Fields Festival 2019 (Alsisar, Rajasthan) as a part of the Dynamite Disco Club crew.
