About the artists :
Pulpy Shilpy:
Music Producer Pulpy Shilpy's debut electro EP Slough is a 'wonderful sonic experiment ... woven by glitchy sounds, 8-bit effects' says Wild City. She is currently working on her second EP - a disco/synth heavy journey - from her home studio in Pune.
She was selected be in Berlin in October and November 2020,
as part of Border Movement Residency.She also works as a music analyst at a gaming company .
Short Human:
Like many involved in the nightlife, Assam based Short human aka Alpana Bordoloi’s love affair with music began upon hearing rock & roll, country and house music since her childhood. Over the last 3 years, Short Human has spent her time gathering music & has developed a unique sound with influences from genres like House, Disco, Funk and Afro Beats. She was a part of the ‘The Selector Pro: Women in Electronic Music’ workshop by British council and Wildcity and is also a member of a women’s collective known as Coven Code. So far Alpana has played a few times for BoxOut (gigs & radio shows), and at venues like Nyx Lounge and Club X in Assam. After holding a weekly residency at Urban Mantra Lounge, Short Human played her first set internationally at Oksar Grill & Bar, followed by Calm at Tangalwood, Nepal.
Regenerate is an electronic music promotion and artist management agency based in Mumbai, India. Having been established in 2013 , the organisation has been responsible for contributing to the spread and awareness of global underground music primarily in Mumbai and also in neighbouring cities such as Bangalore & New Delhi.
