More about the Lineup: AGHARATH: Agharath is a blackened death metal band known for their intense and dark soundscapes. They blend elements of black metal and death metal, creating a unique and powerful musical experience that resonates with fans of both genres. HELL HORDES (Death/Thrash Metal/ India): Hailing from Kerala, India, Hell Hordes is a solo side project of Vasu from the thrash metal band Amorphia. Hell Hordes will take you on a journey of fierce, dark death/thrash that aims at capturing the true essence of old-school death/thrash sound. FFO: Morbid Angel, Benediction AEMPYREAN, Bangalore : Clawing their way through the Indian underground, Aempyrean blasts forth with a whirlwind of fire and brimstone. Aempyrean intend to deliver nothing short of loud, savage, and profane metal. They have already earned a strong following in the local underground after playing a few shows in India. Clocking in at nearly 23 and a half minutes and raging with an unholy intensity, Aempyrean unleashed their debut EP 'Fireborn' worldwide in 2018. Four original creations (including an interlude) and a tribute to Morbid Angel’s legendary track “Chapel of Ghouls” forebode the ominous arrival of Aempyrean in the subterranean domain of extreme metal. Aempyrean are not here to fuck around - they are here to rip you with all the force of a chainsaw tearing through bone. The band supported Australian Technical Death Metal band Psycroptic in Chennai in August 2017 and shared the stage with Draconis Infernum from Singapore and Cult of Fire from the Czech Republic during Trendslaughter Fest 2018. In 2020, Moral Putrefaction opened for American Death Metal Legends Immolation at Bangalore Open Air Metal Nights. Moral Putrefaction won the Wacken Metal Battle India in June 2022, competing against some of the best acts from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, and went on to represent the country at the prestigious Wacken Open Air, Germany in August 2022. Moral Putrefaction released their first demo “Scum of the Earth” in April 2019 and will release their debut self titled record on 24th May 2024 BEVAR SEA, Bengaluru: . Hailing from Bengaluru, their music is a heady brew of stoner, doom, and sludge metal, a potent concoction that transports listeners to a realm where heaviness reigns supreme. Bevar Sea's sound is a journey through mesmerizing riffs that crawl like molasses and vocals that roar like thunder. Five years after releasing their sophomore album ‘Invoke the Bizarre', Bangalore’s Bevar Sea used the Covid-imposed lockdown as an opportunity to regroup and work on the third album titled ‘The Timeless Zone.’ With the backdrop of the lyrics portraying a tryst with the consciousness of man, storying into travels and visions within the self, the music over the course of the album pays homage to the glory years of the 70s and 80s hard rock and metal with the typical rifftastic stoner/doom sound the band has embraced on the two albums prior to this. With each track, they weave a spellbinding narrative that explores both the crushing weight of distortion and the euphoria of melodic intricacies.
