Welcome to the 8th edition of Sunwind Sunday with Bonobo x nrtya! At Bonobo, we love easy-breezy, pet-friendly Sundays with a selection of spirits to uplift the mood, tons of fresh air and chilled music. This Sunday, Bonobo along with Nrtya present, “Sunwind Sunday” a relaxed sundowner with friends, pets, pop-up bar, music, fashion pop-ups and art! What to look forward to? Art: Manasi Patankar (https://www.instagram.com/zoner_stoner07/) - My personal practice revolves around experimental visual art and illustration. I paint my thoughts into concepts where surrealism is my reality and have a soft spot for loud colours. Abstract and socio-personal themes excite me and I like working with a maximalist style of art. Music: Gwen & Kunal (https://instagram.com/gwenfern_, https://instagram.com/kunal_dcosta) - Gwen: A singer-songwriter from Mumbai, India. Raised in a Goan family most of her music influence comes from Lorna, Alfred Rose, Frank Sinatra, Prince, Queen, Elvis Presley. But her major influence has always been Whitney Houston, the very reason she took up music. Gwen has been performing live in Mumbai, Pune, Goa since 2018. She’s also a music educator and is training over 100 students not only in India but also Dubai, US, Canada, Kenya, and UK. Gwen also released her debut single Almosts and Maybes in Oct and had a full-blown Christmas album out last year. She has lent her vocals for Saregama entertainments, a few jingles, and is currently writing and producing her second single. Kunal: Kunal Dcosta is a musician/singer-songwriter from Goa, who is currently based out of Mumbai. After winning the Voice of Goa in 2014 and performing about 150 shows, he is currently creating, composing and writing tunes. Some of his primary music influencers include John Mayer, James Bay, George Ezra and Eric Clapton. Kunal has also lent his vocals for Television ads for popular brands like Havells, Centre Fresh and continues to work with the advertisement industry. Thrift: Madrush (https://www.instagram.com/thrift.madrush/) - MadRush is a thrift store based in Bombay, that helps find a home for Surplus & Preloved clothing.
