Welcome to the 10th Edition of Sunwind Sunday :D At Bonobo, we love easy-breezy, pet-friendly Sundays with a selection of spirits to uplift the mood, tons of fresh air and chilled music. This Sunday, Bonobo along with Nrtya present, “Sunwind Sunday” a relaxed sundowner with friends, pets, pop-up bar, music, fashion pop-ups and art! Here's what we are looking forward to... Music By: Kelly Dlima is a singer, performer, voice over artist and illustrator from Mumbai, who has been performing since the age of 16. Her genres range from retro pop to jazz, and she’s performed for concerts, and shows at NCPA, Royal Opera House, Carnegie Hall to name a few, and lent her voice for backing and solo hindi dubs for movies like Trolls, Aladdin, My Little Pony, shows like Barbie, Hawkeye, Do Re Mi, Pokemon, and more. DOCTOR J (Jarvis Pereira) is an ENT Surgeon by profession, however a passionate musician at heart who loves to perform live. A Guitarist and Vocalist who is well versed with both Western and Indian Music, he was the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for a Rock band called 2 Way Switch and Hindustani band called Goonj in Bangalore. He founded, trained, and performed with an Acapella Group which performed successfully all over Bangalore. He sang as a tenor with internationally renowned Gospel Music Artist Don Moen during his tour in October 2010 and also did playback for a Kannada film Money Honey Shani. He is currently the lead guitarist for successful pop/retro/rock roll band Victor and the Crowns, The Backup Plan, The Classic Rock Project, Stellafunk, The Doctor J collective and also currently performs as a solo artist and in association with a beatboxer and percussionist in various pubs all over Mumbai some of which include The Stables, The Bandra Projekt, The Little Easy, The Quarter, The Habitat (formerly Tuning Fork), Hard Rock Cafe, Quorum, Bombay Gymkhana, Bonobo,The Clearing House, The White Owl, Theory, The Boston Butt, Reise, Patch of Sky, Junkyard Cafe to name a few! Art: Vanora Vaz (https://www.instagram.com/vangodoodle/) Bio: Vanora Vaz is an illustrator, an NFT Artist, a musician and a former reluctant architect. All of the above, with a penchant for storytelling and facilitating change through art and music. Through her illustrations, she focuses on creating colourful, mostly purple art showcasing mental health issues and interpersonal relationships. She believes that Art has the power to start powerful conversations. All her pieces of art tell a story & people often go hmmm whenever they look at her art! Thrift: Thrifty Tales (https://www.instagram.com/thrifty.tales/) Bio: Thrifty Tales is an online marketplace for pre-loved goodness, with the aim of Slowing Down Fast Fashion. Founded in June 2020, it is a one-woman-owned business that has largely contributed to the thrift culture in India today! We strive to be color, style & size-inclusive- there’s something for everyone. Over the past year, over 1000 carefully curated pieces of clothing have made their way to new homes across the country, and have been given second lives- We know this is only the start; Come, Get thrifty with us! * A pop up bar with lots of exciting cocktails: Courtesy - Greater Than Gin!
