Tony Molina Moya's repertoire combines original compositions with some of the finest choices of the jazz standard repertoire in a very open, playful and contemporary style, where improvisation dictates the mood from the beginning to the end. Tony Molina Moya started his career as a guitar player in the local blues scene of Granada, Spain. Between 2010 and 2016, he resided in The Netherlands where he studied jazz guitar and film scoring at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He is a versatile player and performs regularly with jazz, rock, blues or folk projects. He has won awards like the 2nd prize at the 2022 UNISA International Jazz Strings Competition or the 1st prize at the 2015 Sena Young Talent Guitar Award. As an educator, he has taught at schools like Global Music Institute in India and the Granada Jazz School in Spain.
