Winston Balman and The Prophets of Rock

Winston Balman and the Prophets of Rock is a story of social media and like-minded musicians coming together and making magic. This happened sometime in the early months of 2017 when Winston decided to record some of his songs and was looking to put together a bunch of musicians who would fit the unique Country Music Blended Rock blues sound with pop energy. It didn’t take long for the band to hit the studios and get pushed out a couple of Singles as an experiment to test the waters on how the world would react to their sound. Thanks to the internet and many social platforms via which their music was released, it was received by many across the globe and was very much appreciated by all. First to be released was Smalltown Style and the Hot Mama Blues. Both the songs written and composed by Winston, basically speak about his playful yet humble style towards songwriting. Often not shying away from using curse words or even common slang talking about everyday life. Winston Balman is the Singer-songwriter and main composer as well as the rhythm guitarist to the band. He is the simple reason why the band has the country twang, as well has very recognizable Rock influences. His main agenda is to always write and compose to make someone feel good or tell a story with his signature country twang. HanuJeet Singh: is the drummer and a versatile musician who also is a very talented photographer and video editor. His progressive Rock drumming influences are strong but have the unique ability to blend various styles of drumming and feel into his set and are an absolute delight to watch on stage. He performs with a conviction only parallel to a soldier at war! Archit Agrawal : Bass end of the band and also the most Blue amongst them all. His love for Blues music can be compared to nobody and will bust into a Blues bass line anytime anyplace given the chance. That being said he is also one of the most versatile members of the band adding to the signature Rock Country Vibe. Archit is also a qualified sound engineer and takes care of the bands Recordings and production. Harsh Vishnoi: He is a guitarist and composer from Delhi, India. He plays with bands viz. Be Right Back, Fareed, etc and has been a session player for many bands. Harsh is also a certified audio engineer from Aurobindo Center for Arts and Communication (SACAC). Currently he is pursuing improvisational music under Pranai Gurung, Kartikeya Srivastava, Rythem Bansal and Sentirenla Lucia. Bhaskar Dutta: Bhaskar has been playing the violin since 1996 and have learnt western classical music under Abraham Mazumder, the conductor and principal of the Kolkata Music Academy. He has scored Violin for a Hindi Film called 'Violin Player' and Over the years has worked with man Independent musicians and bands like Tajdar Junaid and Big bang Blues to name a few.
