antiSOCIAL LIVE presents The Jass B'stards

Gear up for a fun night featuring New Delhi based JASS B'STARDS, Live at antiSOCIAL Mumbai Lineup: Jass B'stards Flexi K (Dj Set) Mc Mink (Visuals) The Jass Bstards (Delhi) The Jass Bstards are a thoroughly unique-sounding, dance-oriented three piece psychedelic jazz-punk groove band with a Latin twist. What sets the Jass Bstards apart from many other music outfits (besides the music itself) is their focus on stage show. They deploy unusual instrumentation to their live shows; including a transistor radio, an electric sitar and often provide projected visual accompaniment to their pieces. Their songs have a strong jazz type groove, but are often set to dance-friendly, repetitive, trance-like structures. If musical similarities were to be cited, they would mention Underworld, Willie Bobo, Thelonius Monk, Kraftwerk, Stereolab and Fela Kuti. The concert will be followed by a late night DJ set by Flexi K (AKA Stefan Kaye)
