DTS - Dance to Survive

DTS Goa is a three day festival which features the top Techno DJs from Indian and global circuit. Over three days, the festival will have three international acts with several domestic talent. The festival is not just about music and dance; but much more with experiences, fun, food and flea. Being hosted in Goa in March end, the festival is just the right destination to be at during the long weekend of Holi 2021. Headliners: Ellen Allien: A widely respected DJ and producer as well as an entrepreneur and fashionista, Ellen Allien makes experimental techno filled with style and sensuality, in addition to running the celebrated BPitch Control label. Although highly active as a DJ and producer of minimal acid techno tracks since the early '90s, she made her breakthrough with full-lengths such as 2003's Berlinette and 2005's Thrills, which blended glitchy production tricks with futuristic electro-pop. While albums such as 2008's Sool and 2013's LISm contained some of Allien's most abstract work, 2017's Nost brought back the club-focused energy of her singles. Aside from her original productions, she has released an armload of mix CDs, including 2002's Weiss.Mix and 2007's Fabric 34, and has held DJ residencies at prestigious clubs and events such as Tresor (Berlin) and Circoloco (Ibiza). Alan Fitzpatrick: British DJ and producer Alan Fitzpatrick is known for his hard but commanding style of big-room techno. Since the late 2000s, Fitzpatrick has been releasing tracks on labels like Drumcode, Bedrock, and Cocoon which combine steady, booming beats with melodic tones informed by the energy of early rave music. Highly popular with clubbers around the world, he has played lengthy, energetic DJ sets at countless clubs and festivals, with regular appearances at Ibiza and major venues like Fabric and Tresor. His best-known tracks include 2012's luminous 'Skeksis' and 2016's storming 'We Do What We Want' (which kickstarted his own We Are the Brave imprint). Also in 2016, he released an acclaimed mix CD, Fabric 87. More International and Indian artists to be announced.
