MANEATING ORCHID
Prog metal/mathcore from Bangalore
Formed in late 2011, Maneating Orchid plays a dense blend of heavy music with metal, noise, and prog/psych-rock influences. With dissonant guitars, abrasive vocals, noise passages, and bizarre song structures, the band has been pushing the boundaries of heavy music in the subcontinent and remains one of the most original bands to emerge from the region. In 2016, Maneating Orchid released their self-titled debut EP, with Rolling Stone calling it “one of the best cult classics of 2016” & “one of the most intriguing metal releases of the year.” The band released its first full-length record “Miasma” in January 2019 which received praise from various publications worldwide. The band released its sophomore LP “Hive Mind” in March 2022. It featured a dialed-up sonic intensity as well as a raw & honest yet ferocious production, pushing their notorious brand of chaotic prog into more aggressive territories. The band will be launching their new album live at the show and will be performing it in its entirety along with tracks from their older releases.
FFO: Voivod, Watchtower, Dysrhythmia, Gorguts, Spastik Ink, Converge, Cardiacs, Blotted Science, Botch, Discordance Axis, Martyr, Death, Behold… The Arctopus

PACIFIST
Post-hardcore from Bombay
“The greatest battles are yet to be faced.
There’s war to be fought. Peace to be made.”
Pacifist is a Bombay based Post-Hardcore act that takes inspiration from the anxiety & despair of urban existence as much as it is inspired by the lyrical & emotive range of 90s hardcore, the minimalism & loud-soft dynamics of post-punk, coupled with a sound that’s awash in noise & melodic crescendos to deliver powerful, fuelled performances.
Fiercely DIY, loyal to the ethos of the genre, and cognizant of the giants on whose shoulders we stand, Pacifist is committed to the spirit of all things punk and hardcore while exploring sonic identities that transcend the traditional trappings of the genre, to truly justify the word ‘post-hardcore’ in the music landscape of the current era.
Pacifist will be playing shows featuring brand new music slated for an upcoming EP, their latest singles ‘Against The Tide’ & ‘Resolve’ and the Greyscale Dreams EP, with the aim to spread their brand of hardcore music across all spectrums of listeners.
FFO: At The Drive In, Sparta, Modern Life Is War, Ceremony, Glassjaw, Idles, Metz, Have Heart, Touche Amore, Helmet, Rage Against The Machine, Deftones

DEATH BY FUNGI
Hardcore punk from Bombay
Formed in 2012, Mumbai’s razor-edge hardcore band Death By Fungi features guitarist-vocalist Vrishank Menon, drummer Aryaman Chatterjee, and bassist Kamran Raza. With three EPs and a split under their belt, the band proved they can stomp their way through a near non-existent punk, mathcore, and hardcore landscape in the country. Death By Fungi are pitching the hardcore flag with precision, a rawer, aggro sound that recalls everyone from Converge and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Get ready for Bombay hardcore!

From current affairs to issues that have been annoying, irritating, and plaguing the world for time immemorial, The Riot Peddlers are a voice that stands up for what they believe in. Do things not because someone told you to, but because you want to.
